September is World Alzheimer's Month, and the Alzheimer's Association is seeking to turn the world purple on Wednesday in honor of those who have fought the disease and those who are still fighting to find a cure for it.

The organization has declared Wednesday Alzheimer's Action Day, and is urging supporters to wear purple and turn their Facebook pages purple by setting their profile picture as the purple END ALZ logo. Wednesday, or any day this month, is a perfect time to send purple flowers to someone who is affected by Alzheimer's disease.
