TELEFLORA COLLABORATES WITH THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

New Alliance Creates ‘Flowers for the Fight’ to Generate Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars for Cancer Research and Education

LOS ANGELES (October 12, 2005) – Teleflora, the world’s leading floral service and products company, today announced a collaboration with the American Cancer Society, the world's largest voluntary health organization. This joint collaboration, the first of its kind in the floral industry, will support the American Cancer Society’s core mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem through research, education, advocacy and service. Under the terms of the agreement, Teleflora will guarantee a minimum contribution of $250,000 to the American Cancer Society through a series of product sales, promotions and other services offered through December 2006.

The alliance marks the first such collaboration between both organizations and underscores Teleflora’s commitment to giving back to the community and support of major cause-related initiatives. The program kicks off during October’s National Breast Cancer Month with a newly created Web site www.FlowersForTheFight.com where 20% from every flower sale (exclusive of taxes, services and transmission fees) will go directly to the American Cancer Society. Consumers can support the American Cancer Society while shopping for floral arrangements and national, same-day delivery service.
