Gift ideas for your boss
Bosses don't have it easy - they've got to make all the hard decisions. A good boss is fair and kind and brings out the best in their direct reports. So why not treat your boss on National Boss Day? Send him/her/them a card, have a lunch in the boss's honor, and send your boss flowers in our collectible containers like our Be Happy Mug, fire truck, or Ford Truck. These make fun executive desk toys - cool for holding pencils, business cards, or other desk essentials.
Send your boss flowers on National Boss Day
National Boss Day falls on October 16th each year. If the holiday falls on a weekend, it is generally celebrated on the working day closest to October 16th. Patricia Bays Haroski, an employee at State Farm Insurance, registered the holiday with the United States Chamber of Commerce. She designated October 16th as the special day because it was her father's birthday. Her purpose was to designate a day to show appreciation for her boss and other bosses and to also improve the relationship between employees and supervisors.
