You know what would be a nice mother’s day gift? How about not hammering my web servers with your spam mails for this crap.

By far the best marketing ad I have seen. As a mother, daughter, and veteran it was very touching. Your brand will be who I think of the next time I order flowers that’s for sure.

GREAT JOB!! There are so many positive actions that the public are responding to the Men and Women in the military, they deserve our support in so many ways!

Our service members sacrifice so much and spend so much time apart from their families. To receive so many positive comments on Ryan and Cindy’s heartwarming reunion is wonderful.

We are so grateful to you John for your naval service. Our service men and women and all military families have our support.

This seems so contrived. Military + Mom = Money for you. + forcing 2 minutes of it on me when I’m just trying to watch some youtube. All marketing and no real feelings for both the military or Moms. Shame on you.

    1. Teleflora says

Hi Don – We’re sorry you didn’t experience the same warm-hearted feelings that millions of others have after watching the video. The feelings captured were real, and the words that Ryan spoke to his mom were from his heart.

This is for sure, one of the best ads I have seen, pulled my heart strings. The facial reactions of the mother were exactly how I would have felt, if I had a child far away from home. Very well done! (I am not sure who Don is, but he was not forced to watch the whole ad. He could have clicked skip ad. It was his choice to watch it for 2 min. Some people love to be negative.) Thank you for a good ad! Barbara

This was a truly beautiful commercial and moment. When it comes time to send flowers your company has my business. Very well done.

I usually can’t wait for the “skip ad” countdown to end on You Tube. For a reason unknown, I did not hit the skip tab this time and was also in tears at the end. I asked my 88 yr. old Mom to watch it with me and saw her also wipe away tears. I am visiting my Mom from 3,000 miles away because my Dad just died. Thank you for a beautiful rendition of true love. God bless.

    1. Teleflora says

So sorry for your loss Charlotte. Thank you for your support and for taking the time to write to us during this sad time. God bless to you and your mom.

I never sit thru any ads, this one started while i had to step away and get the door, i was listening and came back to it. Only ad I would watch over and over, very well done. I better call my mom and do something nice.

    Thanks for sharing

Ryan should do a better job of communicating with his mother.

What a touching and heartfelt message to Cindy from her son. She sure did raise a wonderful son. I hope Teleflora puts this on the TV stations! Customer for life because you care!

This video is marketing genius. Truly golden. Is there a “making of” video or something that explains how you got the mom to participate without knowing the scope of what was about to occur? I mean, it obviously was not a total shock–a Teleflora truck and several video crews show up cold? I know THAT wasn’t the case. I’d like to know how you pulled it off. It’s truly a great video.

    1. Teleflora says

Thank you for your great feedback Tim! It’s wonderful to receive so many positive reviews.

Sorry, we don’t have a behind the scenes video to share. And for how we pulled it off…”Mums the word”.

      Best, Michelle

      1. Tim Hadac says

Lol, fair enough. Well done, Teleflora!

  13. Debra Herndon says

Shame on you Don! All marketing is to promote the company. However, there is some done with real class and this one is First Class! Well done! And yes, I bawled like a baby! My Dad was military, and my son-in-law is in special forces. They deserve all the recognition and their families do too. This Mom and so many like her suffer the absence of their love ones that serve! Bravo Teleflora!

    1. Teleflora says

Bravo to you Debra! Military families deserve our support and recognition, they sacrifice so much for us.

I have watched this video a zillion times and every time, the same reaction.. Tears. I also have a son named Ryan who is in the army and stationed in Germany so I don’t get to see him much.. It hit home. Excellent job feedlots!

    PLEASE READ TELEFLORA

My name in Andrea and Im from Florida. Like Cindy I was also faced with taking on the full responsability of my child. His father wanted an abortion to which I declined. This decision made his father walk away forever. I was left alone at 3 months pregnant. Today I have a 6 year old boy, and watching this video really hit home. As I cried listening to Ryan’s words I couldnt help but ask myself “How did she do it? How did she raise such fine man? How did she teach him all those values and kept him in the right path? How did she do it!??” My son is now asking about his father, I dont know how to answer. I wish I knew Cindy & Ryan, I wish I could ask them both for advise, I wish I could hear both sides and get some insight as to how do this “Single mom” thing and raise such sweet, kind, toughtful and respectful man as Cindy did with Ryan. Thank you for this video, it touched my heart & soul in ways I cant explain. If you could share this message with them both I would so much be grateful.
    Sincerely,
    Andrea

It was excellent. I saw it on Facebook and wanted to share it, but lost it. Is there a way I can access it to share? When I clicked the “share” button here it said Bad Request”. Thanks

My husband and I both have family in the military. I come from a long line (or tree) of individuals that have proudly served in our Nations Armed Forces. So from a family / emotional / pulling on my heart strings moment, you got me. However from an advertising / marketing professional, I wonder how much of this is real and how much is scripted. It teeters on the fence for me and if there is one thing we should not fake/script…is capturing real moments between the families who miss those who are risking their lives to protect us.

  19. Onah says

Does the video come with the arrangement like an option or was this just something he did on the side? Someone needs to copyright florals sent with a video, I think that would make florals a lot more meaningful now a days!! Beauty and the face of the person who couldn’t be there talking to you.
