TELEFLORA SUPPORTS HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS
World’s Largest Floral Services and Product Company Raises Money Through Teleflora.com Sales
LOS ANGELES (September 8, 2005) – Teleflora, the world’s leading floral services and product company, today announced that the company will support Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts with a monetary donation from its online sales. Between September 1st and October 15th, $2.50 from every Teleflora.com order will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help provide shelter, food, counseling and other aid to the evacuees and uprooted citizens of the mid-Gulf states.
"Like the rest of the nation, we are greatly moved by the devastation Hurricane Katrina caused and are doing our part to help in the overall relief efforts," stated Phil Kleweno, president and chief executive officer, Teleflora. "Teleflora is committed to giving back to both our immediate florist community, and the general community at large. When there are those in need, it is critical that we all do what we can to help."
