          It was gorgeous especially for a birthday surprise to a mother-in-law but given the cost I would have expected more. The purple carnations, although pretty, could have been replaced with a more fragrant flower like a lavender cabbage rose or even the tulips being replaced for a white antique rose. It's a pretty gathering but some of the flowers in the arrangement only compliment the entire piece on the 1st day while others last for over a week.
