I send my mother-in-law flowers for every occasion and have done so for years now. Everytime she receives your flower arrangements she is thrilled. She says the flowers are always fresh, they last a long time and the presentation is outstanding.

Since I didn't see the plant because it went to a friend in the hospital, I can't comment on how it looked. What I ordered -- Violets and Butterflies -- couldn't be found in Denver (a teleflora rep called me to say no one could fill my order), so I agreed to any flowering plant in a basket. My friend liked it.

The violets in a basket were for the funeral of my brother-in-law's mother. His brothers and sisters did not know us as it was 1,000 miles away. They were very touched by the lovely African violets as it turned out their mother loved them and was an avid grower of violets. It made this sad occasion a little more special for the family.

This was sent to my cousin in California who had just lost his mother. The violets were delivered almost with lightening speed. My cousin called me in NJ immediately after delivery to tell how beautiful the basket of violets were. "Pretty as heck" were his exact words as they sat, radiantly, on his kitchen table. He and his wife just couldn't get over how lovely the gift basket was. Purple was his mom's favorite color. It was fitting and appropriate for this sad occasion.
