Young and old flower enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in The Garden Club of Bentleyville's biennial garden show, which is slated to happen this weekend.

According to Cleveland.com, the show will take place at the Hamlet Village atrium, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Two dozen of the garden club members are creating flower arrangements to be judged by a professional panel.

All of the floral displays will be centered around a travel theme, including displays titled Serengeti safari, Arctic adventure and the Great Wall of China.

"When you walk into the atrium it looks like the Rose Bowl," Jean Hood, marketing director for the club, told the news source. "There are all of these installations and designs and it looks like a float."

Other exhibits at the show will include a horticulture display and a youth category for the younger residents of Hamlet.

Those who are interested in creating a display similar to those at the show may want to consider a gift bouquet that consists of Chinese flowers. According to ChinaTownConnection.com, orchids, plum flowers and azaleas are all part of Chinese culture.
