Wedding flowers tips from the professionals
by

When it comes to choosing flowers for your wedding, the sudden, vast amount of choices can be overwhelming. The options for
fall wedding flowers
are stunning, but take a few preparatory steps before you start shopping to prepare yourself.
Michael Gaffney, celebrity florist and founder of the New York School of Flower Design, told the Huffington Post that there are a number of tips that brides and grooms can remember to make sure the flowers at their wedding are a success.
Gaffney says that the number one way to avoid a flower disaster is to hire a florist. The day goes fast enough as it is without fussing about flowers, he told the news source. Tell the florist exactly what you want and for how much, and they will tell you how you can accomplish it, he says.
This season, the biggest trends for fall wedding flowers are hand-tied bouquets with either ivy or
orchids
hanging down, Gaffney told the news outlet. In addition, simple flowers are in. Try a cluster of
fall sunflowers
or ivory
roses
for a streamlined look. Autumn-hued arrangements of
chrysanthemums
and daisies are also always in style for fall.
