Residents of Lompoc, California showcased beautiful flowers in a unique festival and parade.

At the 58th annual Lompoc Valley Flower Festival Parade in Lompoc, California, town residents gathered to watch local groups parade floats decorated with actual flower petals along Ocean Avenue, according to LompocRecord.com.

Despite lower-than-average temperatures, crowds gathered on the sidelines to watch the procession, dressed in light jackets. In addition to the colorful floats, attendees were treated to music played by state and local marching bands, the news source reports.
