Students envision enchanted gardens for Flower Show

Kids in Portland, Maine, are writing essays describing their ideas of an enchanted garden for the Portland Flower Show's student essay contest.

The contest invites Maine residents between the ages of 6 and 18 to vie for the prizes of $50, $30 and $20 in three age categories, with winners to be announced at the opening night on March 9 and a few selections to be up for public viewing over the next three days, according to the Village Soup.
