Sink your teeth into a vampire-themed party
by

Now that fall has officially arrived, many are making plans for one of the biggest events of the season: Halloween. Whether you're hosting or attending, you're bound to come across some sort of Halloween celebration. With all the vampires on TV and in the movies these days, these blood-sucking creatures will probably play a large role in Halloween parties this year.
If you are attending a vampire-themed party, bring the hostess a bouquet of
Halloween flowers
that will match her Halloween décor. Teleflora's Spooky Sweet arrangement might be a good choice, or Teleflora's Boo-tiful Bats, which features eerie bat embellishments that will match the vampire-Goth theme.
If you are hosting the party, start off with creepy invitations. Themeparty.com recommends sending a vial of "blood" with the invitation rolled up inside. Print the invitation on red paper in an eerie, Gothic font. Roll the paper and fit into plastic mini test tubes with cork lids. Make sure to convey the theme for costumes. Prepare plenty of finger foods in shades of red to keep with the theme - red velvet cupcakes, red M&Ms or strawberries.
