British singer Cheryl Cole, who was abruptly let go from a job as a judge on the new reality show X Factor, has sent her former X Factor co-star, Paula Abdul, a large bouquet of spring flowers. According to the Mirror, the flower gift was sent to show that Cole does not harbor any hard feelings toward Abdul.
Both women were slated to judge contestants on former American Idol judge Simon Cowell's new reality program. Cole was booted from her job two weeks ago in favor of former Pussycat Doll Girl Nicole Scherzinger. It is reported that Cole has been in hiding since the incident and is embarrassed by the snub.
Abdul sent a message via Twitter after receiving the blooms. "Gorgeous flowers from a gorgeous girl. Sweet friend ... love you," Abdul wrote.
Sending flowers is an ideal way to show your appreciation for a friend or wish him or her good luck.
Whether you choose seasonal blooms, the recipient's favorite flowers or another type of arrangement, flower gifts can convey a wide range of messages and emotions, especially when accompanied by a heartfelt note.
