Seattle flower show is 2nd biggest in country

Those who have become tired of the February grays may find a little relief if they choose to go to the 22nd Northwest Flower & Garden Show, an event that is hailed as the second-largest of its kind in the country, according to The Woodline Weekly.
Designers, landscapers and gardeners all come together once a year to create beautiful and mesmerizing landscapes, replete with
flowers
, trees and sometimes cartoon characters - especially this year, as the theme of the event is "Once Upon a Time... Spectacular Gardens With Stories to Tell."
There will be 24 full gardens that visitors can explore, containing almost 7,000
plants
that boast traditional and exotic buds in full bloom.
One exhibit, designed by award-winning landscaper John Kinssies, even has a 20-foot tall, 137-year-old Japanese tree as its centerpiece, simulating all the wonders of a high mountaintop setting.
"I strive to export people to nature through my work," Kinssies told the news provider. "I recreate nature and bring it to people.
GardenShow.com states that the Northwest Flower & Garden Show won't just have gardens on display. There will be over 120 free seminars and more than 300 other exhibitors offering organic gardening accessories, edibles and outdoor living products
