January 03, 2011

Just as many flower gifts are given to show love and affection, the U.S. Postal Service has announced its new Garden of Love stamp set is intended for occasions when love and affection are expressed.

The stamps are a continuation of the postal service's Love series that began in 1973, and is intended for use on Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day cards as well as on wedding invitations, announcements and thank you cards.

The collection features ten different First-Class stamps depicting a colorful mosaic of flora and fauna in a garden setting.

The 2011 Garden of Love stamps will be issued May 19.

While receiving a letter or card with a beautiful floral stamp is nice, sending a floral arrangement is an ideal way to show someone how much you care about them.

Many different types of Mother's Day flowers, Father's Day flowers and Valentine's Day flowers are available to celebrate these occasions.

In addition, individuals may choose to send flowers today or any day to a special someone.

Bouquets, baskets and arrangements are available in many sizes and at many different price points to meet every need.
