At the Country Women's Association 2010 Flower Show, Craft and Produce exhibition in New South Wales (NSW), Australia, flower enthusiasts showcased blossoms grown locally, according to the Cobar Age.

The event took place in the Nymagee county hall, and was held in honor of the late Noel Read, who had been a life-long member of the association. Those who were visiting could also take in a cricket match being held nearby.

Special guests at the event included Lilliane Brady, mayor of Cobar, and the former president of the NSW state Patricia Hurley. The most successful exhibitor in the flower show was Dolly Betts, while local farmer Barry Betts took home the champion fleece of show.

Di Roche was the most successful overall winner, taking home awards in flowers, photography, scrap booking and card making.

According to The Flower Expert, each of Australia's states and territories is represented by a flower. Those looking to purchase an Aussie themed bouquet may want to include flowers such as the royal bluebell, sturt's desert rose,m the red and green kangaroo paw or the Cooktown orchid.
