Ian Prosser gives tips on picking a bouquet

Floral designer Ian Prosser sat down with NewsChief.com to share some of his opinions on flower trends.

The renowned designer has been working with flowers for 36 years, and has created arrangements for two presidential inaugurations, as well as the wedding bouquets for Charlie Crist, Governor of Florida, and his wife Carole.

In an interview with the news source, he disclosed that he enjoys arranging flowers because he loves to transform a room for an event. He also loves sharing with his clients as they celebrate important occasions.

When asked by the news site how he selects the flowers for a display, he replied, "In conversation with a bride and groom or and individual about what their inspiration is and how they want their event to look, a light comes on in my head, and I'll visualize what we need to do."

He went on to say that he takes into consideration the personality of his clients.

Whether consulting with a professional or going with one's gut, bouquets and floral arrangements have a big impact on the tone of an event. According to the Wedding Channel, the most popular flowers for a wedding ceremony are calla lilies, Casablanca lilies, and gardenias.
