How to host a princess-worthy party
by

April 26, 2012
It is officially National Princess Week, making it a perfect time for you to host a fun-filled gathering for your little girl and all of her friends. Many little girls go crazy for all things princess, so you could be the hit of the neighborhood by hosting an unforgettable affair.
Set the mood.
The best way to prepare for a princess party is to decorate one room in your house with all things girly. This means picking up a pink tablecloth and even a glitzy tea set that your daughter's friends can use to sip on tea or other drinks. Add more drama with fluffy pink pillows for each girl to sit on during the party. Plan out a few games as well. A fun and easy activity could be to print out a large princess and stick it on your wall. Then cut out accessories like a crown, a wand and more and have the kids play pin the accessories on the princess.
Outfits.
Princesses have a few staples in their wardrobes including sparkling tiaras, fancy shoes and plenty of jewelry. You can help your daughter's friends transform into princesses by setting out tiaras and fun shoes and costume jewelry for them to wear during the party. Ask the ladies to wear their favorite princess dresses on the invitation.
Enhance the room with fresh flowers.
Affordable flowers
are a great way to infuse luxury into any room. Add more sass to your daughter's princess party with flower bouquets strewn throughout the party space. An arrangement of flowers like Teleflora's Sweet Fire Bouquet with Roses is sure to impress your small guests. This collection of red, pink and orange roses will help transform your room into a princess's palace. The flowers are lovely on their own, but they are even more splendid in the sparkling pink cut-glass bowl.
