The annual Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, which is one of the biggest flower shows around the world, started up today in Surrey, England, and will continue through Sunday, July 10, according to the Daily Herald.

This year's show contains 12 different garden displays with different themes, including environment, education and community, with some beautiful summer flower arrangements. One of the displaces is a minimalist garden by David Domoney called the Naked Garden, according to the media outlet.

There are a couple more highlights at the show including the best show garden, which went to The I Am, Beacuse Of Who We Are, designed by Caroline Comber and Petra Horackova. The theme was based off of a community united, the news source reports.

According to BBC News, one of the gold awarded exhibits at the flower show was the underground garden of mushrooms, which was created by Hampshire landscape designer, Daniel Lobb.

"People are initially a bit confused, then they gradually explore using the periscopes. It rewards curiosity," Lobb told the news source. "The gold medal is a really nice compliment. It's been a lot of work in getting the project together and keeping the standard up."
