Flowers and windows go well together

Karyn Brooke, of Kansas City, Missouri, had been designing creative window displays for a while when people began to compliment her on her work. In particular, they liked what she had done with contemporary floral arrangements, according to The Kansas City Star.

Floral design is a delicate art that takes a keen eye for color matches. One must use hues and form in order to display a significant theme, all the while making sure that all of the shades are coordinated with the rest of the home.

Brooke stressed that, for many of her clients, getting used to the idea of floral design is a gradual process. Sometimes, she starts as wedding florist and then becomes a reliable go-to as people look for colorful and comforting displays in their homes.

For one wedding last summer, she filled an arch with 1,000 beautiful red roses.

Flowers themselves can be useful for almost any occasion, because they can be such a source of happiness. One studies conducted at Rutgers University found that, no matter their age or gender, any recipient of flowers immediately experienced a boost in mood, according to Rutgers Magazine.
