Every job comes with its fair share of stress, but it is important for bosses and managers to know when their team needs a boost in morale.
Over the past six months, employee satisfaction levels have started to dwindle, SmartBizTrends.com reports. Fifty-five percent of people surveyed in a recent poll said they were ready to start looking for new jobs because they felt underappreciated in their current positions. Looking closer, the poll found 23 percent of people who have been recognized at work said they are looking for a new job, compared to 51 percent of hose who have never been recognized. Nearly 76 percent of people who have received praise at work admit to being happy at their job, this in comparison the 37 percent of people who are happy and have never been recognized.
