County accidentally removes the wrong flowers
by

June 21, 2011
The county of Santa Rosa, Florida, has released an apology after a miscommunication led workers to remove the wrong type of
summer flowers
from the grounds at the Navarre Library last Friday, according to the Pensacola News Journal. The incident took place after the library had closed, so there was no one on hand to stop the misinformed landscapers.
"We now realize that communication on several levels failed as many more plants were removed than planned," Hunter Walker, Santa Rosa County Administrator, said in a statement. "The cuttings were also improperly disposed of behind the library."
Fortunately, the county has agreed to work collaborate with the Friends of the Navarre Library and the Navarre Garden Club to help correct the error and replant the misplaced flowers. The bright blossoms will likely be a welcome sight for bookworms in the area.
Summer flower arrangements
are a fantastic way to celebrate the season, whether they are planted outside or kept in a home as a center piece. According to TheFlowerExpert.com, some ideal summer flowers include freesia, ginger, gladiolus and asters.
