The Duluth Fine Arts League decided to decorate the Duluth Art Gallery in Georgia, with an array of tropical flowers and themes for the annual Arts at Twilight this past Saturday night, according to the Duluth Patch.
The tropical theme included white lights, palm trees, sun dresses, sea shells, flowery shirts and a tiki hut that served fruit-filled Sangria. There was also tropical-themed food in the form of grilled shrimp, miniature spring rolls, coconut chicken lollipops, teriyaki chicken wings and hot dog buns with shrimp salad packed to the brim, according to the news source.
The event included a silent auction that showcased artwork, wearable art, jewelry, gift baskets and sports tickets. The proceeds will go toward college scholarships for the local high school students, the media outlet reports.
Tropical flower arrangements did not just decorate an art gallery in the past week. In Providence, Rhode Island, the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum showcased these beautiful blooms in the design of the attendees' clothing and the interior design of the event.
